Description:

Since its origins in 1989, Freedom Boat Club has been making boating simple for our members – all the joys of boating without the commitments and additional costs of boat ownership. It has grown to be the world’s oldest and largest members only boat club in the world with over 400 locations in North America, England, Scotland, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and most recently Dubai in the United Emirate Republic. We proudly began our operations in HRM in 2018 with locations now on Halifax Harbour and St. Margaret’s Bay.

With various boating plans to suit your lifestyle and a diverse fleet of boats for your boating adventures, we deliver concierge type service. We own the boats and do the work while you join the Club, have unlimited free training with certified captains, have unlimited access to our fleet, reserve your boat on a user-friendly reservation app, and focus on making memories with family and friends. You also have visitor access to use boats at the 400+ other locations in the network – all included.
